Comment:- Peggy and Sweden swimmer were chasing for Gold medal. Peggy was brilliant swimmer who tried very hard to finish the race. She was very happy to have Silver medal. She still young and promise swimmer for the future. Peggy got 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 world record. Johan swam so well in 50m Freestyle. He was happy with his time. He will preparing for future. He is only 16 years old. Marko swam so well in both two races. his 50m free race was very tough and most of swimmers were chasing for Gold. He came 4th place. So He only has rest about between 10 to 15 mins then ready for 200m Butterfly. He was bit tired after his 50m Free. But he was so happy for his personal best time and came 4th place. He was famous ” King of 4th place”. Terence swam so well in 1500m freestyle. He kept close with poland and german swimmers till after 500m. He was ready to break away from Poland and German swimmers. He was surprised to see his time 16:08.56. he was very happy with his perfomance. He got gold and world record. Terence now got 7 golds, 2 World records and 6 deaflympic records and Bronze medal for cycling. Terence is truly Deaflympic champion in Taipei 2009. Terence was popular around people here in Hsinchu. Everyone want to take photograph and autograph. RSA swimmers is ranking number 2 in medal swimming table. Swimming today is finish. We will join RSA team on tuesday in Taipei for Close Ceremony. We will be home on 17th September. SEE YOU IN ATHENS, GREECE 2013.

Comment:- Peggy swam so well in 100m Backstroke. she is happy with personal best time. Ready for final tonight. Johan swam so well. His dive was good and good to break the water and his stroke and breathe looks good. He also has personal best time. Ready for B final tonight. Marko swam so well in both 2 races. I hope he will get his medal in either 50m free or 200m butterfly. Terence will swimming 1500m Final tonight. He is looking forward to challenge another countries swimmers. Wait and see what happen. This deaflympic swimming competition really very tough cos this standard now become high like Olympic and Paralympic. I hope all of them will be aware to training very hard for next World Swimming Championship 2011 and Deaflympic Games 2013. This evening is last time for swimming competition. I will keep post the results after final tonight.

Comment:- Peggy has bit slow start to dive into the water and tried to catch up the strongest ukraine swimmer. Peggy came 4th place. She still young swimmer and learn a lots of experience and will be ready for next deaflympic. Shanon swam his best. He swam 2 B final tonight. His backstroke was good and was bit tired in the last 25m. Shanon swam brilliantly 200m I.Medley and his persona best times. He is very happy. He now finish his races today.

Terence swam so well. Swimmers tried to catch him but he still too good to won the gold medal for 200m I.Medley. Terence is popular here in Taipei(Hsinchu). Everyone asked for photo and autograph. Most of them think Terence Parkin like Michael Phelps. Terence is Deaflympic swimming star, Michael Phelps is Olympic swimming star. He has one more event left tomorrow nite 1500m final.

Comment:- Peggy swam nicely to made through final tonight. She has tough competitior Ukraine and Belrus swimmers. Shanon swam nicely and made two B finals tonight. he will swim his personal best times tonight. Terence felt better today than yesterday cos he has no pressure. He swam well both races today. 1500m free, he felt comfortable and focus on his every stroke in 30 laps. He is happy and made 1500m freestyle final tomorrow night. He also swam good in 200m I.Medley after his 1500m freestyle. He made 200m I.Medley final tonight.

Comment:- Peggy swam well in 50m Fly. She tied with Russia swimmer for bronze medal. it was tough race for Peggy. She was happy to have bronze medal. Marko has tough race by China, Russia and Italy. Marko was happy with his performance and personal best time in 50m Fly. Johan try his best to swam 100m breaststroke and was tired in last 25m and his arm become crap. He still young swimmer and learn experience and will be ready for next Deaflympic 2013. Terence knew there will be challenge for him. He concerned about two races. He just do his best. 200m Freestyle, it was close by Italy and Terence. Terence 1.53.12 and Italy 1.53.77. He was so relieved to get gold medal. His breaststroke race also very tough by Ukraine. Ukraine and Terence chased for gold. Ukraine was slow finish and Terence was quicker to finish. Terence 1.03.51 Ukraine 1.03.63. He concerned to look the board and saw his name came first and he was happy to get 5 gold medals. But he admitted that he was tired from Cycling yesterday. But he was very positive to swam so well. He told me that Cycling also was very tough race. He chased by group and realised his legs has crap so he cool down let other group go front and he drank bottle and ate banana then relaised his legs now no more crap and ready to catch up the group then passed the group in uphill to broke away from the group. France and Canada reliased that Terence sprint up so quickly then Canada and France catch up Terence then France and Canada passed Terence. He was very happy to won Bronze medal for cycling.

Comment:- Peggy swam 200m Freestyle easy and was surprised came 3rd overall in heat. She decide to scratched 200m Freestyle to focus on 50m Butterfly. Her butterfly was nice and easy. She was relaxed and comfortable in the water. Shanon tried his best to swam 200m Freestyle and came 25th place. he found his costume uncomfortable and struggle to find his stroke rythm smooth during his race. Marko find 200m freestyle very tough race and also struggle to make his freestyle comfortable. He scratched 200m Freestyle B final to focus on his 50m Butterfly. His favourite 50m Fly. Johan swam well and improved from 1:20.61 to 1:14.75 and he was bit tired last 25m but he was so happy with his perfomance. He looking forward to swim B final. Terence swam so well and very relaxed during 2 races after his cycling 93.5km yesterday. He thought he will be tired but surprised that he swam so well in both races. He looking forward to swim 2 races final tonight.

Comment:- it was very close and tough race. 1st France 2:17.34, 2nd Canada 2:17.36, 3rd Terence 2:17.41, 4th CZE 2:17.41, 5th Johan 2:17.41, 6th Italy 2:17.41, 7th Col 2:17.41

WELL DONE to Terence and Johan who done so well. So Far, RSA now got 4 gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medals. Today it is rest day for swimming. Tomorrow, swimmers will compete to race.

4×100m Medley relay – did not swim due protest by somebody. They disqualified us cos we did not enter the relay before 1st August 2009

Comment:- Peggy swam so well in 50m Backstroke. She won Gold medal. She was so thrilled to broke world record and she is only 15 years old. Her birthday is this month. She was so brilliant swimmer. She was so relaxed and love to swam her race. After her 50m back, she called by Doping person.she walked to Doping room. She might go to call room for her race 100m Freestyle so she had has rushed to her race 100m freestyle which was far from swimming pool. She seems bit tired. She battle to focus on her race. She finally got silver medal. She got gold and silver medals. Marko swam brilliant time and very happy with his time 53.47. he was happy with his perfomance and came 4th place. Shanon improved from 16th to 14th place and just missed his best time by one second. He tried his best for 50m backstroke. Terence again swam so well and easy to won gold medal and broke deaflympic record. Terence won Deaflympic gold for 400m I.Medley for 4th times row since 1997. He was so happy with his perfomance. it was big gap between heat 4.47 to Final 4.29. He is now on way back to Taipei tonight to sleep with other RSA Cycling team’s hotel. He will cycling 90km tomorrow. 4×100m Medley RSA team, I can’t explain more than my comments. I felt bad and it is my own fault and let them down.

She looks so good form and ready for both final tonight. Shanon swam well and made B final. He felt good in the water and get better than yesterday. He made B final. Johan swam brilliant freestyle and he is only 16 years old. he has much improved from 59.47 to 56.60. he did not made A and B final but he was so very happy performance. Marko swam so well and felt comfortable in the water. Best time from 54.60 to 53.84. he was happy with his perfomance, made final tonight. Terence swam easy in 400m I.Medley and looking forward to swim good time tonight. 4×100m Medley relay – Shanon, Terence, Marko and Johan swam so well and made final tonight.
